Hi
I wish to model the intake and the exhaust in a 4 stroke CI engine. The idea is to assess the interaction of the swirl/tumble motions with the premixed phase of combustion. Is there any solver in OF capable of handling dynamic meshes for intake and exhaust ? BRGDS Alex |

Hi,
=> Slide "Mesh management" in http://web.student.chalmers.se/group...SlidesOFW5.pdf Lib-ICE A C++ object-oriented library for internal combustion engine simulations: spray and combustion modeling, G. D’Errico, D. Ettorre, T. Lucchini E. Spagnoli, G. Ferrari hope this goes in your direction ( just a guess=>I am not in that area) But maybe the OF workshops Automotive and Combustion section or Moving Meshes etc. are of interest for you |
