Hi

Is there any solver in OpenFOAM to solve for an incompressible turbulent flow with massive particles in it ?

Think of the flow inside a Cyclone... particles separate from the gas because of centrifugal force and gravity...

Is there any solver in OpenFOAM to tackle this sort of analysis...?

Hi Alex!

Sounds as if the kinematicParcel class could work for you.. There is a solver uncoupledKinematicParcelFoam (http://www.openfoam.com/docs/user/standard-solvers.php) which is for transport of a passive parcel cloud. If the mentioned solver is not sufficient for your needs, you could dig deeper into the OpenFOAM particle classes having a look at the icoLagrangianFoam or solidParticleFoam -- an overview of tutorials for particle-based methods can be found on the extend-wiki.
