Discrete Phase Modeling (Pipe erosion) in OF 2.1.0

Hi all,

I want to model erosion in a pipe-elbow configuration (Oil+sand, gas+sand) using Euler-Lagrage solver, Oil as continuous phase and sand as discrete phase. Also i want to include the following
  1. Interaction with the continuous phase (mass, momentum, energy transfer)
  2. Effect of turbulence on the discrete phase
  3. Tracking discrete phase
  4. Including Drag law
  5. Saffman lift force
  6. Erosion rate calculation
  7. Specifying dicrete phase injection type (surface/cone etc)
  8. Impact angle calculation
Which solver to use and how to incude the above mentioned models, Initial conditions.

KGN

Hi all,

I think "bubbleFoam" will be suitable for my simulation, since the volume fraction i ll be considering is around 10%. If any one of you have a setup file for simulating erosion in a simple pipe-elbow configuration or a tutorial case would be helpful for me.

Thanks
KGN
