vacuum voulme

Dear all,

I am interested in studying a problem where I would like to have a vacuum volume.

I have the mesh imported by Fluent and I have a lot of patches. The domain is a cube and - inside it - I have a subvolume that should be the vacuum region. How can I get this?

Hi Samuele...
I am not sure what exactly you are trying to say...
Just in case you mean to say there is region where there is no effect of what happens around it...something like we consider for simulation around aerofoil...
then you need to create grid such that all the internal patches form one BC...something similar to simulation done for aerofoil...

best luck
Sachin
