I'm very new to ParaView and am using it for output from Elmer FEA. I'm loading a file case001.vtu and do see the mesh structure along with a 'temperature' data label. However the data range is [0 322] which is incorrect. In other post processors the true range is [322.0 349.79].
Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong? Thanks, Brian |

Greetings Brian and welcome to the forum!
There might be an export problem in Elmer, where the ".vtu" file wasn't properly created. You can try and use the menu "File -> Save Data" to export to CSV and then inspect in Calc/Excel where exactly ParaView is seeing the 0 values. It could also be a problem related to surface vs volume mesh. In other words, in the other post-processors you might be seeing the volume mesh, but on ParaView you're seeing the surface mesh. That would explain why you have 0 values in ParaView. Best regards, Bruno
