paraview hanged on my PC

recently . I install OpenFoam and paraView from www.openfoam.com on ubuntu 12.04 . but when run any solved case in paraFoam such as Cavity , my Computer hang after 1-10 seconds .

my PC properties :
cpu intel Multicore 2*6=12;
motherboard DX69si;
Graphic gigabyte GT430 (nvidia);

I removed ubuntu and reinstalled everything but it didnt have any result !
please help me !

Two quick suggestions:

• Make sure you install the correct drivers... since you are using Ubuntu, here's the official page on this topic: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Bi...n_Instructions
• Disable 3D acceleration in your Ubuntu desktop. I'm assuming you're using the default Ubuntu interface (aka Unity), so I'll quote from one of the various instructions online: http://askubuntu.com/questions/18691...ubuntu-12-04-1
