Hi All,
I am experiencing that ParaView (ParaFoam) is very very slow when I use Plot Selection Over Time. Especially if I plot the velocity it takes 1h to plot the chart. My computers is an "Intel® Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v4 @ 2.20GHz × 16" and my model has 1’736’096 cells and about 200 time step saved; renderings etc. are reasonably fast but Plot Selection Over Time, that I expect to be fast, is very very slow. Should I save the openFOAM outputs in binary or other formats? Any suggestions? Thanks, Pierluigi |

I advice you to convert your results to VTK format using foamToVTK script. Then open the vtk files with ParaView. It will run much faster.
