Dear all,

which version of graphic card driver should I use to have best performance with Paraview?

a) the one which came with Ubuntu
b) the one on the offical geforce site

About a) do you mean the open source drivers you get out of the box, or the "restricted drivers" you explicitly need to ask ubuntu to install?

I mean the one who is open source and is installed automatically.

When it comes to gaming, the closed source drivers leave Nouveau (open source) dead in the water. It's not even a competition. For paraview the same should hold if your graphics card is the limiting factor for performance.
