Hi Everybody,

When displaying filter “Plot Over Line” the first and the last point data is not shown on the line chart.
Is this an intentional feature, or am I doing something wrong?

One can approximate the start/end of plot line closer to the first and last point values by increasing the resolution. But this can't be the right solution, because it makes no sense why the filter should exclude these two (often very important) point values.

A forum search has turned up a similar question here (asked about 2 years ago):
Having difficulties in plotting data on surface boundaries
which was not answered. Hopefully we get some replies this time, because this is kind of important (not only to me).

Thanks in advance for any input.

Using ParaView 4.0.1 64bit on Linux Mint 17.3.

If you want sample data & snapshots, let me know, and will post what you need.

Cheers,
Zoltan

Here is another thread about the same problem posted last year:

https://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/pa...toverline.html

Still no solution to the problem. Not even an acknowledgement that it has been noticed by the development team.

Are there any ParaView developers reading this forum? Or perhaps, should we post this issue on some other website/mailing list?
