Hi,

I would like to create an offset of a surface / terrain and plot the velocity profile there. I know it is possible to use the filter transform to create an offset from a terrain but then I can't plot for example plot the velocity profile on this offset.

Can someone please suggest another way? Or has someone made experience with this kind of post-processing?

Cheers,

MK

Hi,

I believe it can be done with the Resample With Dataset Filter.

Use your internal mesh as the input and your transformed surface as the source.

Tom

Hi,

I’m using Paraview to post-process the results of an experiment. I have an STL model of a car, and all that has to be determined is the offset of the left side mirror, which can’t be done using the methods mentioned above.

Additionally, I have left side mirror volumetric data that I obtained from wind tunnel data.

Any Suggestions will be helpful
