Hey guys,
this is my first post here, so tell me if I am doing something wrong . I have a problem with plotting the maximum velocity over time of one of my openFOAM cases. My case is a cavern system with water flowing through the single caverns. Now I want the output of the maximum velocity of a slice through these caverns for the different timesteps. Of course I can create the slice and then plot the velocity over time and save the data for opening it in excel or another program and search the maximum, but I get a lot of different sheets if I am doing it that way (for every point/cell on the slice one) and its gonna be a lot of work to find the maximum for each timestep. So do you know if there is any filter which I can use for this? Thanks for your help! Greets, Akinna |

Use the Find Data functionality in paraView. Search for the maximum velocity and use the button Plot Selection Over Time.
