calculting structured grid extent

Hi Everyone,

I am new to Paraview and I am hoping that one of you will be able to answer my question. How does one calculate the "whole extent" of x,y, and z point data to properly apply the TabletoStrucutredGrid filter on a x,y,z table data set?

I have a data set with 746 individual points, each having x,y,z, and an intensity value, m. for the life of me I cannot figure out what extent is required to apply the filter and I keep receiving errors every time I try to implement the tool.

I've spent hours searching the web and reading manuals and tutorials, but none of these resources explicitly explains how to calculate the whole extent. Would someone please explain this to me?

I have attached my data set to this message so that you can see what my data are like.

Thanks so much,

Erich
