Error message with ubuntu 15.10 [BadValue]
 

Hi all,

I just installed ubuntu 15.10, openFOAM3.0.1 and paraView44 on my desktop. When I try to run "paraview" in my terminal, the following error message occurred, and paraview crashed. Does anybody know the solution? By the way, this error message didn't occur in ubuntu 14.04.

X Error: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) 2
Extension: 155 (Uknown extension)
Minor opcode: 3 (Unknown request)
Resource id: 0x0

Hi guys,

I've solved the problem. Actually, the problem was caused by NVDIA display card driver. At first, I installed NVDIA binary driver (version 352.63), but when I change to X.Org X serer version, the problem was solved.

please refer to the following link, those guys got the same problem when ran steam.
