How to calculate a variable in Paraview

Hi all,
I am new in Paraview and I would like to know if it is possible to calculate the difference between a same variable but in different coordinates.
I mean, I need to calculate the Temperature difference between two different points in my domain.

How can I do it?

Hello,

You can easily do this by combining two probe locations filters and using three calculator filters. Position the measurement probes at corrects coordinates. On each of the two probe location filters you can then apply a caculator filter, here you can compute the variable of interest with suitable name for these mesurement values (eg point 1 and point 2).
Select both of these calculators and use the group data set filter, and there after you can apply a third calculator to compute the difference.

If done right you will end up with a delta value between your two coordinates, good luck!
