Hi, ive resorted to building this from source.
Ive tried building this using the super build repo, that failed miserably due to some issue with curl and iscp download. So ive downloaded the source directly from paraview.org, and as my latest attempt i have downloaded the source from github. I can successfully configure it using ccmake when i run make it fails almost straight away.. -- Fetching "http://www.paraview.org/files/ExternalData/MD5/e6c586444d59a64f720e 3458f0c3b301" CMake Error at /home/azurecoder/paraviewgit/ParaView/CMake/ExternalData.cmake:74 9 (message): Object MD5=e6c586444d59a64f720e3458f0c3b301 not found at: http://midas3.kitware.com/midas/api/...m.download&che cksum=e6c586444d59a64f720e3458f0c3b301&algorithm=M D5 ("Unsupported protocol") http://www.paraview.org/files/Extern...f720e3458f0c3b 301 ("HTTP response code said error") Call Stack (most recent call first): /home/azurecoder/paraviewgit/ParaView/CMake/ExternalData.cmake:771 (_ExternalD ata_download_object) ????? How the hell do i build this darn app!! |

Hello,
"Ive tried building this using the super build repo, that failed miserably due to some issue with curl and iscp download. " Looks like you are doing something wrong here because it is the way it should be build, I did it just two days ago. Please post here more info about the actions you had attempted. "I can successfully configure it using ccmake" - do you mean master branch from https://github.com/Kitware/ParaView ? It cannot be build without dependencies from superbuild. |
