I am newbie with openfoam. Trying the cavity tutorial. when the first time , i ran the command (paraFoam -case ../../cavity) the paraview window opened up with pipeline browser and one can see 'cavity'. I then quitted that session. Now in later sessions, when i run the same command to launch paraview, the paraview window opens correctly but no pipeline browser and no name of the cavity tutorial appears.

Go to View and ensure that the Pipeline Browser field is checked. That should hopefully do the trick.
