how to plot limited range concentration in a volume

Hi,

I think my question is rather basic but I couldnt find a solution.

I have ran my CFD case and I have the output file in paraview format (.vtk). Now I want to plot the concentration in my domain (volume) but I just want to see the cells where the concentration is in a certain range, lets say c1Min-c1Max, and hollow in the rest of the cells. What I basically want is to find where in my domain concentration is in the range! any help?

Hi,

You can use the threshold filter to select just the cells in the range of interest, or use the opacity function for the volume rendering (set to 0 outside the range). I think I would prefer the threshold method.

Tom
