Hello,
I started working with openFOAM/Paraview recently and have to simulate some droplets hitting a surface. So I wanted to do the tutorial with the 'hot boxes': http://openfoam.org/release/2-0-0/surface-film/ I think I should get a result comparable to the one in the link. But I just manage to display the waterdroplets. Not the liquid film on the box/floor. What options/data do I have to display to get the result like in the picture? Thanks for your help! Found the solution at: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...oam_report.pdf
foamToVTK -noZero foamToVTK -noZero -region wallFilmRegion 'All VTK les resides in the VTK/folder; themost interesting ones are probably evaporatingSpray_..vtk (fuid data), lagrangian/reactingCloud1/reactingCloud1_..vtk (spray data) andwallFilmRegion/region0_to_wallFilmRegion_wallFilmFaces/region0_to_wallFilmRegion_wallFilmFaces_..vtk(wall lm data).' |

Hello foamers. I am working on sprayFoam and I have started working on surface film modeling and droplet impingement interaction with the film.
Please tell me what I have to do (what options/data/filters I have to apply) in order to visualise the surface film thickness as shown in figure 4. b. (the right hand side figure) of the image that I have attached below in paraview. I have converted the film region to VTK and uploaded in paraview. But from that I only get a contour visualisation of the film thickness. What extra filters/data I have to apply to get the physical visualisation of the film as given in the figure. Hi, I'am working on a similar problem and did exactly as the link you posted suggests, but the only data that I managed to show is phi, and I would really like to show velocity too. When I reconstruct the wall film region (since I am decomposing the problem for parallel running) I get this: Create time Reconstructing fields for mesh wallFilmRegion Skipping time 0.01 Skipping time 0.02 Skipping time 0.03 Skipping time 0.04 Skipping time 0.05 Skipping time 0.06 Skipping time 0.07 Skipping time 0.08 Skipping time 0.09 Skipping time 0.1 Skipping time 0.11 Skipping time 0.12 Skipping time 0.13 Skipping time 0.14 Skipping time 0.15 Skipping time 0.16 Skipping time 0.17 Skipping time 0.18 Skipping time 0.19 Skipping time 0.2 End Any Idea how to solve this? |
