Threshold from cell data - Difference between 4.3.1 and 5.1.2
 

I was kind of shocked when the results of my meshing algorithm seemed to be all wrong. Until I realized that this was caused by different visualizations in Paraview.

The data consists of an ensight file with hexahedral cell data. For example the property "state" can have 4 discrete values: 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Until recently, using the threshold filter with default settings allowed me to extract all cells with a "state" value of 4:

With newer versions of Paraview (i tried 5.1.2) the result is different:

Deactivating the "all scalars" option at least yields the same geometry. But the color map is still interpolated although it should be a constant value of 4 everywhere.

What changed between these versions of paraview or how can I get the same behavior of the older versions?
