Paraview 'clip' settings re-set OR how to assess flow distribution in many channels

Hi,

Say I have something like a radiator with a feed pipe at the bottom, feeding the horizontal channel, five distinct vertical channels, and the horizontal channel at the top leading to the off-take pipe.

I need to find out what the flow distribution is in the vertical channels, so that I can say there is X% difference in the mass flow rates.

I have tried the method of creating a cylindrical 'clip' that encompasses each vertical pipe, taking a 'slice' at the mid point, doing 'integrate variables' on the slice and then 'cell data to point data'. I can then use the calculator function to work out my mass flow rate.

However, the 'clip' does not remember the settings I type in and if I try to save the state to use it on the same geometry for a different flow case all of the 'clip' settings revert to the original settings.

For info, the CFD model is something I've run using simpleFoam (in openfoam) and is laminar. Oh and I'm using Paraview 5.0.1 64 bit on Linux.

Does anyone know how to get round this issue? I'd like to be able to quickly repeat analysis of results without spending hours typing numbers each time.
