Hi all,
Using paraFoam command to get my OF solver results in paraview, I am trying to script a tool where I could get the dimensions a specific object loaded and add a cut filter at a specific location based on these dimensions. I've never done such a thing. Should I just start trying with the Python shell and simple.* loaded ? Is there any example where I can get data from a scene object, and/or apply a filter an an existing object ? Every tuto I found works with the viewer. Maybe should this be a single customFilter ? Is all I need to achieve this is in this page? Thank you guys. |

Hi again,
I think I managed to run the basics. How do I know which properties are available for a selected object ? GetProperty requires a property name. Can I list the available properties for my object? (aka the y range min and y range max in my case) Thanks! |
