How to calculate current from rhoE
1 Attachment(s)
I am working on Electrohydrodynamic project where I have managed to achieve a Taylor cone formation using a modified version of interFoam solver.
I am interested in the charge flow (at any given point) as this will help me to find current. I included two axisymmetric figures (below is the phase fraction and the top is the charge density) It can be seen that the charge density increases towards the axis while at the surface its minimum.
Reading related papers, most paper spoke about electric current density(J). Since Current density = total flow of charge per time over a cross-section of area I = J.dS or can be written as J=I/A
Can I relate current density (J) to charge density(rhoE)?
My question is if I wanted to know the current flow at 2mm, how do I compute?
