Dear all
I computed multiphase problem which simulates mixing of water and oil using OpenFOAM multiphaseInterFoam. I’d like to evaluate mixing condition on the arbitrary surface consisted with small faces. At first, I defined a surface(sphere) which has a certain distance from the inlet. But, then, I have no idea how to cut this surface with small pieces(it would be curved faces) and evaluate the mixing condition on each face in paraview. Please give any comment for this poor newbie. Thank you in advance |

I think I found the solution.
At first, I got a cell areas from an arbitrary surface I defined using CellSize filter. The problem remain is to get normal vector for each cell face in order to calculate mass flow rate for each cell face. In this equation, I need to evaluate for each cell j. This normal can be obtained from GenerateSurfaceNormals with the option ‘Compute Cell Normals’. Then I can get Normals. Source From: https://public.kitware.com/pipermail...il/028096.html |
