Is it possible to edit ParaView state files (pvsm)

Hello all,
I am using ParaView 5.7.0 to postprocess my CFD data.

I am using states in ParaView to create multiple plots at the same time.
For example, I want to plot the velocity at different heights above a plane.
I made the plots, and then I have the saved the state file so that I can produce the same plots for a different run.

My question is, now if I wanted to edit the pvsm file manually to change the plot characteristics (perhaps change the line thickness?) can I do that?

Otherwise I would have the start from scratch, load all the data, apply the filters, and save it again as a new pvsm file. That seems a bit of work to change the line thickness.

I guess what I would need then is an explanation of the attributes stored in the pvsm file. Does anyone have information on that?

Thanks in advance.
