Point data for parallel result
Dear forum,
I have a question about visualizing parallel result. It is about weird visualization about point data. I know that I can visualize parallel result by selecting 'decompose' in paraview. When I visualize the result using cell data, I have no problem at all. However, if I choose point data or use python calculator, strange pattern occurs near processor boundaries. For example, if I directly calculated grad(U) using OpenFOAM utility and visualizing it, no strange pattern is observed. However, if I use python calculator (gradient(U)), strange pattern occurs as I said above. It seems exactly same issue about not using correctBoundarys() in OpenFOAM; decomposed data does not communicate with each other during calculation. Is there any method or filter to overcome this issue? Thank you for reading it. Best regards, Jun |
Dear all,
I finally found the way to solve this issue. The keys are "Clean to grid" and "Cell data to point" filters. After applying the filters in sequence, the weird result is gone. Thank you. Best regards, Jun |
