Hi,

In Paraview, while visualizing a geometry built using multiple processors, I noticed lines (for 2D) and planes (for 3D) dividing the geometry (attached figure). These lines correspond to the splitting of the geometry over the processors. However, I would like to make these lines disappear. Could you please provide suggestions or steps on how to achieve this in Paraview?

Thank you.

Does GroupDataset help?

Also you can readily just display the CAD file (like the STL) instead of the actual mesh to represent the geometric outline. I do this regularly.

Finally I managed to use CleantoGrid filter with volume representation to achieve what I wanted. In fact CleantoGrid filter helped me in making the lines disappear. However, I couldn't view my scalar fields inside my domain. So, I had to switch to volume representation.

This solution was provided by Mathieu Westphal from kitware on Paraview forum.

I will also look at your GroupDataset solution.

Thanks for your reply.
