in paraview 5.13.2 when I apply plot over line, I get n.a.n results...
the same file in paraview 5.9.1 works. any idea? |

This sounds like it could be a version-specific issue in ParaView 5.13.2. Sometimes the “Plot Over Line” filter behavior changes slightly between releases, especially if the data format or point interpolation methods are handled differently. A couple of things to try:
Make sure your line actually intersects the dataset points—sometimes newer versions require more precise positioning. Check the data type and scalar arrays you’re trying to plot; 5.13.2 might handle certain arrays differently. If it still doesn’t work, exporting your data to a compatible format (like VTK or CSV) and trying the plot in the newer version can help debug if it’s a bug. If none of that works, reporting it on the ParaView bug tracker could help, since it might be a regression. |
