Does someone know how it's possible to calculate with paraview the mean value of variables when I have finished the simulation?
I have tried to use fieldAverage1 in controlDict, but it's different because with fieldAverage1 I get the mean of the variables since I activate it, and after I can't change the initial step. |

Hi,
When the simulation is done, for a patch, you can use the patchAverage utility. For other zones, Integrated values in paraview on the surface/volume and then division by the area/volume of the zone considered. Eric |

Thanks Eric, but I wanted to say a field, not a variable.
