Mesh with tetaHedrons

Hi world,

I really need some help!

I know there is a cell shape called "tetahedron" in Foam. But had anyone tried to use it?
In fact, I wanna know if it is possible, in FOAM, to make a mesh with tetrahedrons, like in Finite Elements (I know that FreeFem++ CAN DO IT).
So if somebody has menaged to do it, some examples or advice will be very helpful ofr me.

Thank you in advance

What precisely is the problem?

What precisely is the problem? Just make a mesh, convert it and it will run.

Thank you for your answer.

Thank you for your answer.

I have an input mesh, e.g. ansys standard, with heat flux or exchange coefficients defined on thousends of faces / and nodal boundary conditions.

The question is: did anyone develop an interface to convert complex 3D geometries (in tetraedra, standard ansys or nastran, etc) with boudary conditions on nodes and faces, into the OPENFOAN standard.

Thank you in advance

Just read the documentation: s

Just read the documentation: starToFoam, gambitToFoam, fluentToFoam, gmshToFoam will all do the job.
