Neather using ParaFoam<root><filename> nor transfering the results to VTK form the GUI do not have the parameters such as stress or dispplacement choosed to present。 sincerely hoping some one can help to resolve the disaster ! Really appreciate your helping , Thx ^^

foamToVTK only converts scalar and vector fields. If you want your stresses to be converted you will first have to decompose then into vectors or scalar components.

THX first . But it semms not the point of this problem . I can't find the property of stree or displacement to display even i never convert the results to the VTK format . In other words , i use paraview in Linux system but still no effect . I guess if the stress analysis of segregated finite-element (by the case) is little different to finite-volume , or maybe the results(only sigmaxx, sigmayy, sigmaxy,U) aren't enough for paraview to present it . Or even the results of the analysis are in error . I wish what i explain above is clear for your thinking . Thx again ^^

Run:
R <root> <case> //calcs stresses and then Rcomponents <root> <case> //makes stress components and then foamToVTK <root> <case> I have no idea what displacement is in this context |
