wireframe as solid

1 Attachment(s)
Hi,

I am newbie in OpenFoam. I am using it in my two computers: desktop in office and laptop at home. For the desktop there is no big problems, for the moment. But in the laptop (ubuntu 7.10 in a thinpad R40) I cannot see the mesh as wireframe in paraview. I see it as a solid body. I have attached the snapshot for the damBreakWithObstacle tutorial. May be it is a problem with the display driver, or the qt, but I have no idea how to solve it.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Robert

I'm not sure. If you enable any fancy desktop effect, such as compiz fusion.Turn it off and check whether it helps.

Yes, I have turned it off and it does not help. By the way, I am not sure if I compiled the OF or if I installed the binary distribution. I will try to compile it and we will see...

I have recompiled paraFoam, with the instructions from OF website,
  • cd $FOAM_INST_DIR/ThirdParty
  • rm -rf ParaView3.3-cvs/platforms
  • buildParaView3.3-cvs
and nothing changes.

Any idea?

Robert
