Setting Fan Static Pressure

Hi all,

I want to set fan static pressure in Phoenics VR but there is only air velocity or flowrate for user to input. Can anyone here advise me ?

The scenario I am facing is the pressure display from inlet to outlet via fan is negative despite having the correct airflow directional arrow display. Can anyone here know what is wrong ?

Great thanks.

Regards
Low

Hi Low,

To set a fixed pressure the object type you want is an OUTLET, although this is named outlet you can still have inflow here, so it is more accurately a fixed pressure boundary. I think this will help you set the fan static pressure.

As for the airflow direction I would check that you have the pressure outlet set correctly relative to the ambient and reference pressure.

Thanks,
Harry
