What is the significance of the vriable "MIXF" in the "EDDY BREAK UP MODEL". And what is the difference compare to the variable " FUEL". I thank you for your interest.

FUEL = the mass fraction of unburned fuel, and MIXF = the "mixture fraction", ie the mass of material originating from fuel, per unit mass of mixture, regardless of whether it is burned or not.

please I need the mixture fraction relationships in the case of two reaction: and the mass fraction of unburned fuel, the mass fraction of product and of each species when we have: fuel +.O2 ____> co + co+ .o2 -------> co2 if you have yhe description or fortran listing of this section please send it to me I need very much your help. ....happy new year 2010! |
