CHEMKIN files
 

I am trying to add ARGON to the list of species my PHOENICS/CHEMKIN model will solve but am encountering "Error reading chemkin link file" from Earth after I successfully create the link files and try running it. Has anyone encountered similar errors? I am running PHOENICS 3.3(1).

A little more looking around showed this problem is similar to Known Problem:U32-001 - except that I am using version 3.3(1) nonrecompilable, so I can't implement the discribed fix anyway. I tried running case C201 and it failed with:

...I also tried remaking (via CKI.bat) the CHEMKIN mechanism files supplied with PHOENICS 3.3 (ho11.ckm) and after successfully creading ho11ckln and ho11mcln, Earth continues to report:

GXCHKI - CHEMKIN LINK FILE:

ho11ckln Error reading Chemkin Linking file.

Logically this means that CKI.bat and/or its supporting files are not correctly making ho11ckln and ho11mcln. Has anyone run into this problem?

I encounter the same error. \phoenics\d_earth\d_opt/d_chem/ho11ckln Error reading Chemkin Linking file. I just use CKI to create the link files, using the mechanism file ho11.ckm. And replace the original link files with these files.
