Re: which program in phoenics can change CAD file
you have to use either 3d face and export it to DXF format, or the better is to make a solid in CAD and then expot it as STL ( non binary) format, then you can import it with no problem into PHOENICS.
I hope this help, Ing. R. Azzawi |

Re: which program in phoenics can change CAD file
if you want to do structured grids then there is a package called, i believe, GeoGrid-CSI which i have heard does a wonderful job interfacing with PHOENICS. this package will read in IGES files and then you can work with the CAD data to generate a multiblock structured mesh for import into PHOENICS.

Re: which program in phoenics can change CAD file
in phoenics/d_intfac/d_cadpho/stlcham.htm, it said that there exist a file call stlcham that can change CAD geometry into phoenics style data file. But where the stlcham is? In phoenics, I can't find it. I didnt want use Vr to import a CAD stl file, I hope I can use stlcham to change CAD stl file into Phoneics data file. Where I can find the program STLCHAM?
