Pressure Printouts

Simple Minded Question here - my outlet in a simple flow problem is external reference pressure = 0.0 in reference to coefficient 1000.0. I think the coefficient holds the external pressure at 0.0, but shouldn't the external pressure be the same as the internal pressure or does that result in backflow? I am trying to get a feel for the physics of the outlet setup.

THANKS, PattiMichelle

I recommend to look at POLIS on the CHAM website, or on your machine. Look under the encyclopaedia and look up "COVAL Command". Under part e, it answers your question better than I can in this forum.

Hope this helps

Leon.
