I bought a PDR/Cham NA/9 (Phoenics Demonstration Report) titled: "A fixed grid numerical methodology for phase change problems involving mushy region and convection in the melt". This PDR was run in the Phoenics-84 version 1.0 on April 1986. I reproduced the Q1 and Ground files and run in the Phoenics PVR version 3.3. The results are not similar. Is there some essential difference or incompatibility in those versions? P.S.: I can send the Q1 and Ground files or more explanation about the problem.

Thanks

I think there are an compatible problem between the PHOENICS VR version and Dos Version, you can close the VR and run the program.

I am running the program with VR closed, just with DOS version and the convergence isn't reached too. Is there some difference in the default's versions?
