hi,
i want to know if there are some tools to adapt the grid following some criteria such as gradients (pressure velocity..)or y_plus (wall coordinates. For instance it is very important for wall bounded flows with standart wall function to have y_plus equals about 30... but y_plus is solution dependent... aalso, it is very usefull for shocks tracking to avoid a very fine mesh in a large part of the domain.. (just a local adaptation around shocks).... if there are these kind of tools or mmdules in phoenics, let me know.... yann, phd natural ressurces canada |
