Default Polar form/vortex

I am a relative beginer at PHOENICS. I am trying to create a vortex exiting through an orifice. I have done models in cartesian coordinates, but cannot create a vortex. But the does fluid flow through the orifice and the Q1 works.

I am attempting to do the same in polar form, creating the vortex by putting initial angular momentum on the fluid at the inlet. This is not working. None of my models are working in polar form at all. Any ideas what i can do or where i can look will be appreciated.
