outlet object in FLAIR

Hello,

I'm trying to use FLAIR for wind flow simulations but I faced the first problem: When I'm setting the domain I have no outlet objects available in the list. Why?

Thanks in advance

Re: outlet object in FLAIR

What do you need an outlet object for.

If you are looking for atmosphere use an opening.

If you are looking for an outflow then use an inlet with the flow in the opposite direction.

Hope this helps,

Leon

Re: outlet object in FLAIR

Leon,

According to POLIS I need an outlet object in FLAIR for the same reason I need it in PHOENICS. As I read the domain and objects creation are exactly the same in both environments.

I may be wrong, but i think that the "opening" object does the same things as outlet, including being the pressure reference (it is just a question of different names for the same object).

I will check it out and I tell you better...
