Default Solidification boundary conditon

I am working with Prof Rajiv Shekhar, IIT Kanpur on optimisation of ledge formation in the Hall-Heroult cell under steady state. That is, solidified cryolite in the liquid bath. For this, I wish to solve enthalpy (H1) equation in Phoenics and extract the temperature profile (H=rho*cp*T). Can someone suggest whether boundary condition should be in terms of enthalpy or temperature.

Thanks in advance!

Anil
