Gradient of Scalar calculation in 3D BFCskew grids

Hi, I am trying to compute the gradient of a scalar (electric potential) in order to get the electric field. The problem is the difficulty and accuracy of the gradient calculated in skew grids.

It seems that the function FNDSDX does not compensate for grid skewness, is this true? where can i check the coding for FNDSDX?

I considered using the Rhie-Chow interpolation, but accuracy affected if the cell face is not in line with the adjacent nodes.

Any other approach i can use to compute the gradient for BFC skew grids?

Please help. CHAM>> do u have a subroutine to do this? Or the user have to write their own code for this, if there is a method to do so?
