Hi
I am working with 2phase solid-gas flow and I want to add a term to N-S equations as follows: div(rhos*epsilons*Us*Us) = -epsilons*grad(p) - beta*(Us-Ug) + div(taus) + rhos*epsilons*g as you can see I have two additional terms in N-S equs as beta*(Us-Ug) and div(taus). beta in the first term is the momentum transfer, taus is the stress tensor and epsilons is the volume fraction of solid phase. I am wondering how I can add these terms to N-S equs in PHOENICS. mostly the term beta*(Us-Ug) is a simple argument and must be very easy to add but I do not know how and I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this. |

Have you use sample q1 file that is given to phonics library or develop q1 for solving N-S eqn. personally?

I did not understand exactly what u mean by sample q1 in phoenics lib or developed q1 file. I am using q1 file generated by phoenics through VR and I want to know how to add these term using probably SOURCE in ground file.

In the phoenics directory (..../d_earth/....) there are lot of example of various phenomena. You can check there.
