Can anyone please explain me about ground.f? In phoenics if we wanna run a case, we need to prepare q1 according to the purpose. But how is about ground.f? Is it automatically modified during the build up of q1 file for a specific run?

In the ancient version I used (v3.2 dated 1999), there were scripts to build the earth executable by compiling main.f and ground.f and linking. I am not familiar with the 2006 version. Try to see the documentation or contact CHAM.
