Type of approximations used by PHoenics

Hi there,

I have a question regarding the basic equations of Phoenics.
I've read in an article that Phoenics solves the fully 3D RANS equations and wanted to confirm this.

I currently use it with the CHEMKIN interface and a k-e model, but I think the code uses the Favre approximations and if it does not use it, I need to set it up, I would very much like to know which basic equations does PHOENICS use - Reynolds averaged? or switches to Favre approx?

Thank you for the elucidation,

George.
