Parallel processing

Is parallel processing possible with Pointwise& Gridgen?

Thanks.

Hi Burak:

At present, Pointwise utilizes multi-threading on the desktop. Parallel (and by that I assume you mean something that runs on a cluster, for example) is in our future.

Can you tell me more about your needs? Are you interested in parallel for speed or for distributing a huge job and thereby decreasing memory needs? Do you have a particular platform in mind?

No, actually I meant running on mutiple cpus at a single computer. I guess than the answer is yes.

There are several operations in Pointwise that use multi-threading to take advantage of a desktop with multiple cores. We are continually expanding the use multi-threading.
