Dear dgarlisch
When i generate the mesh in NETGEN, their is an option. 'export mesh'. Which same as other softwares. when we export mesh from icem to fluent it shows that it is saving a mesh file in .msh format. But when I am giving command 'export' as a 'fluent mesh' then it is not saving in .msh format. even there is no extension of file it is saving

Hello Mayur,

This forum is for Pointwise and Gridgen, not NETGEN.

That being said, when you export some software requires you to type in the extension. Maybe you can try exporting your grid and manually type the .msh extension. If that doesn't work I suggest contacting the developers of NETGEN directly for support.

Travis

Thank you people. I got the solution on same site. Actually I want the mesh for openFoam. And for that, you have to save the mesh in natural netgen format. and then use command "netgenNaturalToFOAM".
