sweep of a domain
 

dear all,
I need to model flow around a cylinder with helical wires, which looks like the first Figure.
Now I have a clip of the computation mesh like Figure 2. Is it possible to twist, or sweep the 2D mesh into a 3D, which looks like Figure 3?

Or is it easier to do this job directly from the 3 dimensional model as shown in Figure 1?

Please guide me the way!

I am not aware of a twisted extrude tool in PW.

However, I suggest looking at the script:
CreateFromAnalyticFunction

You should be able to adapt them to do what you need.
