Problem creating blocks

hi, i'd like to create a parallelepiped with mesh so i create a rectangle and its domain, then i extrude it; now pointwise show me that i have six domain and one block but i don't pretty sure if i have created a volume mesh or not. Can anyone help me?
Hope i explain well and make easy to understand

List (left top corner) - > Blocks

If block elements number > 0 - > success

Thank you, so the blocks indicate to me number of volume composed by cells. Is that right?

Hope I get your question right. It is not volume, just number of elements in the block
