I want to draw a structural mesh like the figures as shown. But there always critical error come out. I want there's no small platform at Trailing edge, and two semi-circle cover both wingtip and root. Can you help me with that, give me some guidance. If can modify my file, that will be grateful. Thanks again!!! Please forgive me for my poor English.
And I had upload my "fail" file, you can download here:https://pan.baidu.com/s/1ran27KS also with inf: Info: Created 1 block. Error: Face processing failed. Info: Check your grid for one of the following invalid situations: Info: * Incompatible BC types used on opposite sides of a baffle or connection. Info: * Non-manifold connectivity. Warning: Aborted Export CAE. If you can help me with this, I also leave my E-mail here: 303818657@qq.com Thanks again! |

The domain you used to rotate extrude the block generated some "unsupported" cell types at the trailing (sharp) tip of the body.
If you File, Import, Database... the attached vrml file, you will see the surface faces that are not getting matched. Examine the hex cells touching these faces. You will see their shapes have a tri at one end and a quad at the other. This cell type is unsupported. |
